On Friday evening, the Eaton Socon FC Ladies team – the Eaton Eagles – became Hunts FA Women’s Senior Cup winners, beating Godmanchester Rovers 3-0 in a dominant final display.
Three goals in the first half set the tone, and the team used the second half to control the game and see it out with confidence. A thoroughly deserved win, and a huge milestone for a squad that has gone from strength to strength.
We’ve been sponsoring the Eagles since 2023. Year one, we kitted out the team and watched them reach their first-ever county cup final. Year two, we became stadium sponsors of the Motive Arena. This year, we went a step further – a cash injection to help with kit, development, and building something that lasts well beyond any single season.

As David Hennessy, Managing Director at Motive puts it: “Sponsoring the stadium was brilliant, but what the team and club really need is money going directly into it – the right kit, the right support, and a real future in the community for the next generation of players.”
The results have been pretty hard to argue with.
Dave adds “Since we’ve been involved, they’ve either won it or been runners-up. It’s a great example of what you can achieve with the right support behind you.”
The Eagles are the only competitive ladies team in St Neots. Established in 2019, they’ve grown into something the whole town can be proud of. Here’s to what comes next.
