Oleeo’s sustainable garden-party exhibition stand steals the show at RecFest 2025

An exhibition stand buzzing with energy

At RecFest 2025, one exhibition stand had people smiling, snapping photos, and stopping in their tracks – Oleeo’s bright, flower-filled garden party.

In their first collaboration with Motive Exhibitions, Oleeo wanted to ditch the standard tent set-up they’d used in previous years and go for a more fun, creative idea, bringing their “AI software that helps you bloom” tagline to life in a way that everyone would remember

From tagline inspiration to festival showpiece

RecFest, with its relaxed, festival atmosphere, was the perfect place to step away from corporate brand guidelines and embrace a more playful type of exhibition stand. Oleeo came to Motive with a handful of bold, slightly wacky ideas – and Motive understood the assignment immediately.

Their giant custom-built flower sculptures in bright reds and yellows were the stand’s unmistakable signature and caught everyone’s imagination. Instead of a basic marquee, Motive had designed a unique angled timber structure, painted in Oleeo’s vibrant brand colours and topped with fluttering, summery flags. 

A white picket fence framed the space, with shaded picnic benches made it easy to chill out and chat. Clever branding touches, bold wooden signs, and the natural warmth of timber tied the whole look together.

Visitors could explore Oleeo’s AI-powered recruitment tools through live demos, join in games, and bag festival-themed freebies from sunglasses to hats. A face-painting station kept the party vibe, while hidden storage and integrated charging points ensured the space worked just as hard as the team.

 “It was nice to do something more unusual and creative,” said Ed Marshall, Creative Director at Motive Exhibitions. “We loved building our own structure for it, and it was great to see the Oleeo team on the morning of the event to make sure everything looked as good as possible.”

A partnership that clicked – and a stand that delivered results

From start to finish, the working relationship was easy, collaborative, and full of ideas. Oleeo brought exciting concepts; Motive brought the build expertise, design skills, and fresh touches like the picket fence and logo placement – and the results spoke for themselves.

Oleeo walked away from RecFest with six demo calls booked, plus a stream of leads their sales team is still nurturing. Everyone their SDR team has spoken to since remembers them for “the flower stand” – proof that striking designs really do stick in the minds of your visitors.

The stand’s sturdy timber frame and hand-painted finishes also mean it’s built to last, ready to be adapted for future events without anything being throwaway. It’s a sustainable structure with staying power.
