All-Fill exhibition stand case study at Interpack, Düsseldorf, a rental stand with a design customised to their brand

Motive Exhibitions built a modular rental exhibition stand with a design customised to All-Fill for Interpack, the largest edition of the show in its history. The trade show is held at Messe Düsseldorf and draws 127,000 visitors from 161 countries. It’s one of several stands we’ve built for All-Fill over the years, and this one came with an extra job: getting two demo machines to Germany and back in one piece.

A returning client and another European show

All-Fill has trusted Motive Exhibitions to deliver stands across the UK and Europe for a number of years. For Interpack in Düsseldorf, three members of our team built the stand on-site over three days. Lockable storage was incorporated into the design, giving the All-Fill team a secure place to store personal belongings and smaller exhibition equipment throughout the seven-day exhibition.

Alongside the stand itself, we managed the transport of All-Fill’s demo machines to and from Germany. From loading in the UK to returning everything safely after the exhibition, we took care of the logistics so the All-Fill team could focus on the event.

Moving the machines

We collected All-Fill’s two demo machines from their headquarters in Sandy. The largest weighed around 6 tonnes and stood 2.86m high, not exactly hand luggage. Getting it to Düsseldorf meant booking an Omega Cube trailer, the only European trailer type that could take a crate that size. We also booked a forklift specifically rated for the weight at the other end. We managed all the customs paperwork, carnet, and health and safety sign-off for the move, so All-Fill didn’t need to organise any of it themselves. Once the show closed, we returned the machinery to Sandy, job done.

Built to be used again

We built the modular exhibition stand from our exhibition stand rental range, customising the design around All-Fill’s brand and demo machinery. The stand included bespoke counters, LED-lit inset shells, and a halo-lit illuminated sign produced by our sister company, Motive Graphics. We ran electrics and air lines throughout too, not standard on a rental exhibition stand, so All-Fill’s machines had power, air and space to run wherever they sat on the floor. European shows have a habit of springing hidden extras on you, furniture, plants, tools, all charged at a premium if you haven’t planned ahead. We made sure All-Fill wasn’t caught out by any of it. The counters were custom built, the fabrics are ready to reuse as they are, and if All-Fill fancied going bigger next time, the stand could be reconfigured into a double-deck design.
