CASE STUDY
A bespoke exhibition booth designed to promote four different product lines

Testo
Exhibition:
Installer Show
Location:
NEC, Birmingham
A statement bespoke design
Testo wanted a custom booth – much bigger than their usual exhibition spaces – that would make a real statement while showcasing products and providing areas for the stand staff to chat with prospective customers.
Consistency while promoting multiple products
Testo needed four zones to display four individual product lines while still exhibiting on a booth consistent in its look, feel, and branding. Our challenge for InstallerSHOW at the NEC was to ensure that Testo’s heat pumps, boilers, heat guns, and smart monitors all got an equal share of the potential exposure.
Adapting a previous booth design
Having worked with Testo at many previous shows, we were keen to maximise their budget by recycling elements of their older booth design.
We used the existing outer shell but adapted it for their show objective and built four individual towers inside. We placed one of Testo’s four main products inside each tower – a catchy way of highlighting them and creating a zoned effect. Each zone also had its own TV screen to demo the product.
The four zones created a lovely open space in the middle of the booth, which we maximised by turning it into a meeting and hospitality area.
Testo also envisioned the back of their booth being illuminated, so we designed and installed a 6m x 4m lightbox. Behind the lightbox was a concealed storage cupboard, too – a critical part of any exhibition booth design.
And we achieved all of this well under budget!
