A maxed-out events calendar
Mixergy’s 2024 show calendar is absolutely jam-packed – but they had a strict budget to work to.
We looked at all of the events they had planned for the year and designed two stand options: an all-singing, all-dancing version and a slightly simpler modular design. All of the assets on these designs could be mixed and matched, to maximise their budget.
Live demo areas, recyclable assets, and a premium feel
In late June 2024, Mixergy had two events on the calendar – on the same day!
So, our challenge was to use the suite of branded assets we had curated for them to create two show-stopping exhibition stands of different shames and sizes. Plus, we needed to manage the logistics of design, setup, and take down.
Two stands, two shows, one brand
The all-singing, all-dancing stand concept headed to InstallerSHOW at The NEC, Birmingham. This 8m x 7.5m space included an array of custom-made props and assets, including product plinths, tables and furniture, illuminated brand signs, and a very special display tower to draw attention to the brand’s products. We also added a carpet in the brand’s colours, and created a full suite of graphics in Mixergy’s brand palette to bring everything together.
Over at Manchester Central, the ‘L’ shaped, space-only 4m x 3m modular stand at Housing 2024 featured two lightboxes, two tank plinths and included Mixergy’s new product CUBEX. CUBEX targets Housing 24’s audience – housing associations, local authorities, and government. This modular stand included existing stand parts, their products and our rental walling while remaining on-brand down to the carpet colour.
By curating a pool of branded equipment which can be mixed and matched, we made sure that Mixergy’s 2024 show calendar came in well under budget, that their visitors got a unique experience every time (no matter how many times they dropped by!), and that their exhibition presence was as sustainable as possible.
“The end-to-end process of working with Motive was seamless. We had a strict budget, which had to include absolutely everything. From design, through to building the stand; setting up on the day and assisting throughout the show; dealing with the venue, and, most importantly, managing the budget, Motive managed everything. No problem was too big or small for them, and they were always on hand to support us.”
