EIVA’s modular exhibition stand makes waves at Oceanology International

Supporting a growing international brand

For Oceanology International, Danish ocean technology company EIVA wanted a fresh stand that was as dynamic and functional as their innovative software. They needed a professional, hands-on space for live demos, daily presentations, and conversations – with a flexible design to support travel, rebuild, and reuse at future shows.

They’d done plenty of exhibitions before and came with clear requirements: high visibility, smooth flow, with a build that could be reconfigured without losing its style. The Motive team took this concept and shaped it into a modular design with simple lines, warm materials, and practical but modern features that drew crowds of interested visitors.

Designing for longevity, flexibility, and style

We met EIVA’s brief with a modular structure that balanced form and function. The back wall combined rental panels with custom-built sections at the front, creating a layout that could expand or contract to suit different venues.

Dark wood finishes added warmth to the technical edge of the space, while integrated lighting and clean lines kept it professional. Each demo station faced the gangways to draw people in, and the open presentation area encouraged movement and conversation throughout the day.

Illuminated signs gave the stand presence across the hall, and a raised platform floor brought a sense of finish that tied everything together. Every detail had purpose, from the flow of visitors to the reusability of each element.

Planning ahead pays dividends

Before the show, Motive’s team built and tested the full stand in their workshop to make sure every detail worked perfectly. The pre-build allowed for quick assembly at ExCeL and gave EIVA full confidence that everything would run to plan.

Handover was timed around EIVA’s flight schedule, keeping the process straightforward from start to finish. Once the event closed, Motive packed down and stored the stand’s custom elements, ready for the next show. Each part was checked, cleaned, and prepared for the next rebuild – keeping the stand in top condition and ready for easy reinstallation.
